Small Class instruction
ACT Prep Chicago is happy to announce our summer ACT prep course beginning Sunday July 1, 2012 until August 26, 2012. We will meet every Sunday from 2pm-4pm or 4pm to 6pm (depending on your class) except on April 8. Our classes are held at the newly renovated Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation, 7901 S Racine, Chicago, IL 60620. Students register on the day of the first class, July 1, 2012, 30 minutes prior to the start time of the class 1:30pm. Students/parents fill out a registration form, view the facility and ask any questions they may have.Small classes include
- In depth content review
- Strategies that our specific to individual student's skill level
- Expert and passionate instructors
- 2 hours of instruction per class
- Practice with questions in ACT format
- 2 full length practice tests with score reports
Each session will cover multiple skills in 1-2 subject areas of the ACT. We will cover each subject until we have completed the necessary skills for that individual subject.
The amount of classes that each student needs to thoroughly prepare for the ACT varies from student to student according to skill level, exposure, and expectations. We suggest at least 2 cycle of classes (20 classes) for a thorough review.
In this summer cycle, we will have two classes, based on previous ACT scores and academic achievement. Both classes include strategies and skills for each subject area tested on the ACT and 2 full length ACT practice exams administered under normal testing conditions. However, the beg/int class will move at a more comfortable pace and the int/advanced class will move at a faster pace. Homework is given after both classes and is expected to be completed for optimal results. Lots of practice will take you a long way in improving your ACT score. With this need for lots of practice, we are bringing back our Wednesday class which will supplement the Sunday class by providing more guided practice than instruction. Students will complete practice in 3 to 4 subjects under timed conditions and we will review this practice. This practice class gives students the opportunity to master skills they learn in the Sunday class.The cost of each class is $25 cash ($26 credit card) per student payable after each class attended. If the full amount is paid upon registration, the cost is $225 ($233 credit card), a savings of $50. If you want to register siblings, your cost is $40 per class ($42 credit card), $400 ($412 credit card) for the entire class in advance, a savings of $155. You also have to purchase 2 $20 books for this class. Cash is the preferred method of payment. Credit Card payments are also acceptable.
